Bio
Born to Fëanor and Nerdanel during the Years of the Trees in Aman, he was the eldest of their seven sons (his brothers were Maglor, Celegorm, Caranthir, Curufin, and twins Amras and Amrod). With their father, they often travelled far and wide in Valinor. During this time Maedhros befriended Fingon, son of Fingolfin, for whom Fëanor had no love.
Maedhros participated in the Kinslaying at Alqualondë and stood aside at the burning of the ships at Losgar. When Fëanor and his sons secretly sailed to Middle-earth, Maedhros was shocked when he realised that they would not return for Fingolfin and his host.
Maedhros can be a little stubborn and he doesn't take to threats very well. He doesn't back down from anyone and there is very little that scares him. With that being said, Maedhros is also very loyal to those he considered close friends and family. He'll defend them to the death if he needs to.
